Advocate Sougat Sinha has a total work experience of 20 years. He has a masters from Queen Mary, University of London in Corporate and Commercial Laws with distinction in his thesis which was published in the journal, International Construction Law Review [2013] ICLR 161. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and started his career as a Practicing Company Secretary in the year 2002. He moved into corporate advisory in the year 2006 and performed various inhouse roles as Manager Legal and Head of Legal of an expanding hospitality group. Since 2012, after graduating from Queen Mary, Sougat is practicing as an Advocate and appears before all forums in New Delhi including the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, District Courts of Delhi, NCLT, NCLAT, DRT and DRAT. He primarily represents corporate clients in commercial matters and is on the active panel of Bank of Baroda and regularly represents the Bank in the various forums in the NCT of Delhi.
