Sougat Sinha │ Advocate-On-Record, Supreme Court of India │ 22 years

Sougat Sinha is an experienced Counsel with expertise in Trials before Commercial Courts, Arbitral tribunals and Debt Recovery Tribunals. He is on the panel of Bank of Baroda, SIDBI, Canara Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, and the Official Liquidator, Calcutta High Court and represents various large corporates in the real estate, construction, and fintech sectors. He regularly appears before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court before its original, appellate and extra-ordinary writ civil jurisdiction as well as tribunals established under the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act, 1993 and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 i.e. NCLT/DRTs. He is an Advocate-on Record in the Supreme Court of India.

He has successfully structured and closed over a dozen private company amalgamations before the NCLT, Delhi. He also advises clients in management disputes and represents them before the Hon’ble NCLT in oppression and mismanagement cases. His expertise also extends to drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts including commercial leases, management contracts, technical services agreements, development cum lease agreements, shareholding agreements, Debenture Agreements, SPAs, Software Development Agreements, Sale Deeds/Conveyances, Tender documents on behalf of employers/lessors/owners in their transactions with leading brands.

Sougat is a Resolution Professional registered with IBBI and an Arbitrator on the panel of the Construction Industry Arbitration Council (CIAC). He holds a Master’s in Corporate and Commercial Laws from Queen Mary, University of London, where he earned distinction in International Construction Contract and Arbitration and in his research paper. His paper was later published in the International Construction Law Review ([2013] ICLR 161). A Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), he began his career as a Practicing Company Secretary in 2002.

Recognized for his strategic legal acumen, he is frequently sought for advice on contractual disputes, construction arbitration, contract negotiation, and litigation strategy in commercial and banking matters. He is registered with the Bar Council of Delhi and is a member of:

Advocate Gayathri Manasa Rayaprolu completed her five-year integrated LLB in 2015. She holds a PG Diploma in International Trade and Business Law and Intellectual Property Rights from ISIL, New Delhi. Gayathri pursued her interest in core litigation since the beginning of her career and has grown over the last 6 years as an ingenious litigation lawyer with expertise in handling contractual disputes, real estate matters, consumer matters, administrative matters, insolvency cases, negotiable instruments cases and data privacy laws. She appears in matters invoking the writ jurisdiction of the Hon’ble High Court. She represents clients in various commercial arbitration cases and appears regularly before the original side of the High Court. Gayathri has expertise in drafting writs, commercial suits, arbitration claims and petitions. She regularly appears before the various courts and tribunals in the NCT of Delhi including High Court, Supreme Court and District Courts, Tribunals including NCDRC, State Commission, District Commission(s), DRT, NCLT, NCLAT, CAT, DST, RERA, PMLA etc. She actively contributes to the society through pro-bono matters specifically related to human rights. She is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi and is a member of Indian Council of Arbitration, Delhi High Court Bar Association and Rouse Avenue Bar Association.

Advocate Navneet Kumar Pandey graduated in law in the year 2021 from Delhi University and has been providing crucial support to the litigation team in various courts in Delhi. He is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi and regularly appears before all courts and tribunals in Delhi. He is skilled in drafting legal documents and takes special interest in matters connected with information technology act, criminal complaint in banking frauds, negotiable instruments act, consumer forums and RERA.
